TIFFANY STUDIOS, MODELED BLOTTER ENDS, CRAFTSMAN BROWN PATINA, ACID ETCHED~~~

Description

For auction is a very nice set of desk blotter ends made by Tiffany Studios, New York. These blotter ends are part of a desk set pattern known as "Modeled". This was one of Arts & Crafts designed patterns created by Louis C. Tiffany. These blotter ends are the smaller desk size as each measures approximately 12 1/4" wide by 1 7/8" deep at is widest part and 3/8" tall. These are the smaller set and considered the appropriate size for a woman's desk.
The blotter ends display a wonderful acid etched small snowflake pattern on the surface of the metal. The geometric pattern of a Greek key give this set that added Arts & Crafts touch. This pattern is at each end the the blotter ends with a more plain center on each. The patina is wonderful as it displays a medium craftsman brown color. This is a nice set of blotter ends for your desk blotter.
The blotter ends are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no dents of dings to the metal. Other than a few surface and one of the Greek key area showing minor wear they are about as nice a set as you can find. The patina shows minimal wear except that one area described. The blotter ends are signed with the impressed Tiffany Studios New York mark along with the model number 1111. Guaranteed original LCT Tiffany Studios New York manufacturer.
Those of you who are collecting the Modeled desk set pattern these would be a nice addition. Tiffany started numbering his desk set pieces usually with a 3 digit number after 1902. Since these have a 3 digit number these blotter ends were made circa 1902-1915.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the

unless it is paid for.
They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
