    Description

Sankyo Super LXL 250 Super-8 Power Zoom Movie Film Camera
    ITEM DETAILS
For use with Super-8 cartridge film (not included)
Records visuals only, not a sound camera
9-22.5mm zoom range (about equivalent to 56-140mm in 35mm comparison)
    f/1.2 max aperture
It runs normally at 18 frames per second, but can slow down to 9 fps if you hold down the "9" button while operating, which will give you a fast motion effect when played back at 18fps
Minimum focus distance is about 4 feet out, any closer than that will be blurry
Power zoom (please note that this only operates while the record trigger is held down: if you are composing a shot before recording, you have to move the zoom ring manually)
Auto aperture control via powered metering, or manual control with dial
Folding pistol grip: you can fold the grip down for handheld use, or fold it up for mounting the camera on a tripod using the standard 1/4" thread mount underneath
Uses 4 AA batteries, not included (the battery holder is in the pistol grip, just open the grip and gently pry open the back of the grip from the bottom, it is held on with a spring pull)
Includes a cable release for exposing frames one at a time, for stop motion and animation (one push and release exposes and advances one frame: if you hold the release down, the motor will run but still only one frame will be exposed or advanced--if you want to record continuously you must hold down the actual trigger, not the cable release)
