Up for your consideration RARE original 1910s L.C. Tiffany (1848-1933) favrile glass cabinet vase.
L.C. Tiffany developed his unique method of
glass making
: treating molten glass with metallic oxides that were absorbed into the glass and created a luxurious iridescent surface effect. Tiffany worked to develop this new glass after being strongly influenced by his 1865 trip to Europe. Signed and numbered on the bottom “L. C. T.
K1097”. Excellent condition without with no chips or cracks. Measuring 10 7/8” high and 3 ½” wide. Please, look at the photos as they are part of the description.
