Adorable, Nancy Ann Storybook doll, #55, from the
American Girl series
, called, "Quaker Maid". She is all bisque and marked on her back: Story Book Doll/ USA. which dates her to circa 1941. She is all original and wears her mauve grey, long taffeta dress with full skirt with attached cotton slip, long apron with crossed chest bands and long pantalets. She stands
5 inches tall
, with perfectly painted features and original, side-parted, long thick wavy, auburn hair and joints at her shoulders and stiff legs with flat-soled, black painted shoes. See pages, 56-57, "Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann Story Book Dolls" (red cover) as in last photo. She is in excellent condition with no damages, no chips or nicks, no cracks or hairlines and no repairs or odors as she is from a smoke free home. Her clothing is minty perfect with no stains, no fading and no dust. She'll make a perfect addition to your NASB doll collection. See also our
