    Description

    JC Penny 8 Track Player.
    Bought it and it didn’t work. Head carriage bracket broken and head not attached.
    Cleaned and oiled it. Reinforced head carriage with copper wire so it will not crack again. Reattached and aligned head. Belt was newer and tight so I did not need to replace it. After repairs, works as seen in videos.

    Not the top of the line but not bad! Volume balance and tone all work. A few flaws in wooden veneer over particle board type plywood.
    The usual caveat. These are 45 plus years old. I fix them, take pictures and videotape them and give an honest description. If the belt slips off in shipping I can’t be responsible for that. I sell these as is and you are buying it with that understanding. If it doesn’t work when you get it, I can try to walk you through troubleshooting.
