Description
This particular radio-phonograph combination is in an excellent condition and full working order. The cabinet is in a fantastic condition. All cleaned and polished. The lacquer is original and very good. It is very glossy. It has certainly small signs of use and wearmarks. At all an excellent condition for its age. The magic eye is very well working.
It has a four speed record player, 78, 45, 33, 16 rpm. The tube radio picks up LW, MW, KW and UKW signals (Broadcast, Long Wave, and FM).
This radio-phonograph is in an perfect working order.
This radio phonograph was completely restored and revised. Completely Overhauled. Tubes were checked and defective replaced. All critical capacitors, defective resistors and elkos were replaced. The bulbs and the fuse were replaced. The record player was completely disassembled and overhauled. The engine has been cleaned and restored. The engine mounts were revised. All adjusted. All tuned. Original Elac stereo crystal phono cartridge with new needle and very well playing, all individual parts were cleaned, all mechanical parts were cleaned and re-oiled, all contacts were refreshed, technically checked, etc....(Please look at the pictures)
All switches and knobs work well (treble, bass, etc.). The platter will move in all speeds and plays records fine. The radio has some nice reception even without an external antenna. The sound is clear.
A truly design classic by Dieter Rams which is in many museum permanent collection.
It works in all its bands: AM, FM, MW, KW and LW. All functions are guaranteed.
The magic eye is very good working.
The 9 tubes are in a very good working order.
Tubes: ECC85, ECH81, EF89, EBF89, EM84, ECC83, ECC83, EL84, EL84.
Voltage regulator works from
110 to 240V
. It´s ready to plug in.
If you are looking for a radio-phonograph with a spectacular look, this would be the right choice. It is possible to connect external players like ipod, iphone and other. Due to its very good technical and optical condition, it will bring a lot of fun to its new owner.
