The Cine-Kodak Special II camera.
A fine Motion's Picture camera for 16mm film, 100' load. Equipped with a 2 Lens Turret. The Camera utilizes Type S Mount Lenses. This unique system works on a 2-point bayonet mount; folding optical frame finder, critical refelx focuser behind lens; clockwork drive 8-64 fps, single frame. Adjustable shutter - totally closing. Backwind, single frame shaft, hand turning option; interchangeable film magazine. Frame and footage counters.
Older Cine-Kodak Special 16mm camera, were made in the United States, starting about 1933.
The Cine-Kodak special was launched in 1933 aimed at advanced amateur and semi-professional filmmakers. It has a fully adjustable shutter, allowing fades, and a back wind which could be used to overlap scenes. This precision 16mm cine camera was Kodak's attempt to provide 35mm technique with 16mm running costs. The camera has a clockwork drive with a speed range of 8 to 64 frames per second.
