Description
This is an incredible piece of consumer design of the early Mid-Century period, around 1951. It's really more of a Streamline look with great visual appeal. Zenith Model H664 Cobra-Matic Phonograph and AM TUBE Radio Combination unit. The case is entirely made of molded deep maroon BAKELITE. It has no chips, cracks or other damage. I only cleaned it and put on a bit of paste wax and it's beautiful. The Phonograph and the Radio both work. I did play an album on it with a bit of wow/flutter but this thing probably hadn't been played in 50 years.. It will play all sizes and speeds for records of that time. It has an automatic changer. I would suggest sourcing a new NEEDLE if you intend to play your favorite old albums on this unit. The Radio received a local AM station and has good sound and volume. This unit weighs almost 30 pounds and will require careful and substantial packing for safe shipping.GUARANTEED TO PLEASE THE NEW OWNER OR I'LL BUY IT BACK. Check my Feedback.
NOTE: SHIPPING COST LISTED IS A MAXIMUM ESTIMATE AND THE BUYER WILL BE REFUNDED AT TIME OF SHIPPING FOR ANYTHING OVER MY ACTUAL COST TO SHIP IT.
