This fine camera is self contained.
The body & Magazine are
UNUSED MILITARY SURPLUS
Circa Vietnam War!
The system will operate with either a
100 ft daylight load internally  or a 400 foot lab roll by using the external Magazine provided.
We have acquired a few of these Cameras  as Government Surplus.
We bring them to you while the supply lasts.
These have been stashed in a government Warehouse since 1960's!

This Camera is well known for its super quiet operation
and steady picture, as well as high quality optical system.
The year 1923, Bell &Howell introduced their first Filmo,
the model 70A, a single lens camera. The 70A was quite expensive
for 1923, having a price tag of 0. In 1925 the release of the second Filmo,
the model 70B, a high speed camera that only ran at 128fps.
This was designed for motion analysis work.
There would be at least ten other models in the series
before production stopped in the 1980's.
The Filmo had a great influence on television news. In the mid 1950's
and early 60's local stations began to venture out of the studio and
incorporate film into their nightly news programs, it was 16mm Filmo
they chose to acquire footage of local events. Even after stations
adopted more sophisticated magnetic
sound-on-film
cameras
like the Auricon, the Filmo remained the workhorse "stringer" camera.
Some of the most dramatic close combat footage from the
Vietnam war was shot by both NBC and CBS using Filmo's.
Today, the B&H Filmo 16mm camera continues with renewed
interest and respect among student and independent filmmakers alike.
The low cost of ownership and simple maintenance are ideal for young filmmakers.
It is also like the 35mm Eyemo, it is the perfect crash camera.
With a few simple tools it can be mounted on almost any surface.
