    Description

    I am offering for the first time on the public market: these dolls that
    had belonged to the original owner / doll collector who amassed her collection from antique stores and private sales over many years. They were lovingly cared for by the owner. I recently purchased this lot from the niece who had inherited the items from her aunt in the early 1960s and stored them away. The niece had no interest in doll collecting. She was moving to a smaller home and no longer wanted to store them. I bought the entire doll collection from her which includes dolls and children's items stored away by the niece for more than 50 years. Watch for more listings.
    Lot of 2 Storybook Nancy Ann Bisque Dolls
    Doll 1
    - Frozen legs, painted black slippers, in its original style auburn mohair wig, backside marked "Storybook ...," (number illegible,) see photos, jointed arms, 6" H.
    Doll 2
    - Pudgy belly, white painted on boots, jointed arms and legs, in its original style blond mohair wig, backside marked "Storybook ... 18" (slightly illegible so the number may be incorrect, see photo). Some very tiny chips to one of her white boots on the inside near heel, 5 1/2" H.

    - Both in organza dresses, lace panties, no hair adornments, no issues, scratches, chips, paint loss (see Doll 2 description and photo - tiny chips to boot inside near heel), soiled or damaged outfits, or thinning hair.
